Since 1994, the San Antonio Bar Foundation, together with St. Mary’s University School of Law, has provided an on-going educational program, the People’s Law School, which offers a FREE one-day seminar on legal topics of general interest, including elder, family, consumer and probate law. Over 2,500 people have utilized this opportunity to be a “law student for a day” and learn about issues that affect them personally. Qualified local attorneys will share their expertise in a series of classes. Each topic is presented in a 45-minute track, enabling everyone to attend four different sessions. After each session, participants are invited to ask questions and speak personally with the instructors. Light refreshments are offered. The San Antonio Bar Foundation, in conjunction with St. Mary’s School of Law, will hold its 16th annual People’s Law School on Saturday, February 20, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Admission is free to the public. Registration begins at 8 a.m. in the St. Mary’s University School of Law, Law Classroom Building. Parking is free. Please enter from N.W. 36th Street Entrance.
